Firstly, we have been a little bit idle concerning this site, but I hope to change that.
We have had a very busy 9 months at the hall at Kanwal, apart from having a bit of a bumpy start & not knowing what I really needed to do, I have found that with the help from new friends & family members we have made it!! Sorted out the hiccups found out we are becoming known in the general public can take a while but with all the help we will continue to grow.
Secondly, we have been lucky enough to win a couple of grants this year. One being from the Federal Government for a Volunteers Grant back in May, 2017 & the other from the ClubsGrants.
ClubsGrants are given to not for profit organisations who need financial funds to make their group better & expand. We were given moneys from “Wyong Leagues Club, Kanwal“, “Wallarah Bay Recreation Club” & Club Wyong RSL. We would like to thank all 3 clubs for their fantastic support & hope everyone visits these clubs to show their appreciation.

Since we received these grants we have now got a heap of tools, some new sewing machines & over lockers, a cutting machine & the list goes on.
We can now do just about any craft (other than metalwork, although we do jewellery), from sewing to paper crafts to dream catchers.
I will write up some more about what we get up to at Her Cave Inc. in other posts to come, with photos of the ladies works.
